- Identification of the contractual transport chain, organization of a joint inspection
- Immediate intervention in order to allow quick conservatory measures (cold chain break, perishable foodstuffs, accidents)
- Identification of conservatory measures and salvage solutions likely to minimize the loss
- Evaluation of the extent of the damage, determination of the origin of the loss, calculation of the losses
- Preliminary report 72 hours after assessment
